Class Reunion by Gail Ward Olmsted is fiction story feat. Lennon, a successful attorney living a peaceful life until, someone from her past approaches her.
and from that points, things gets interesting.

“She let out a low chuckle, a standard Erin Cooper-type response.
She hadn’t changed, but she did look different.
Her long red hair was now cut shorter and layered,
and her perfect complexion glowed.
She looked like she might have had some
work done”
Class Reunion by Gail Ward Olmsted
Imagine, someone from your past show up at the worst possible time? Not with coffee. But with a legal emergency? That’s exactly how this book starts.
“That’s why I never get arrested on a Friday night.”
Lennon Gallagher has life figured out. She’s a successful lawyer. Her wedding is around the corner. Everything seems to be good until someone called her. On the other end is Erin, an old law school friend who comes with more baggage than an overpacked airport suitcase. She’s been arrested and wants Lennon to defend her.
Would you say yes? Lennon does. And that’s where things get interesting.
This isn’t one of those legal stories that throws twists at you every few pages just to keep you hooked for the time. Instead, it slowly pulls you in. One conversation leads to another. One doubt becomes two and so on.
Lennon is easy to root for. She’s smart, kind, and helpful, her character feels very real. She makes mistakes. She overthinks. Haven’t we all?
Erin is the mystery. You can trust her but a few pages later, you’re not so sure.
Maybe the pace could have been a little faster in a few places? Maybe. A few side characters also deserved more focus in the storyline. But honestly, those are small bumps on the smooth ride.
What makes Class Reunion special is its heart. It truly shows us that the hardest cases aren’t always solved in court, sometimes they’re solved by just facing the people, and the memories, we’ve been avoiding.
It’s smart, warm, and quietly enjoyable. If you enjoy legal thrillers then it’s for you.

Storyline: (Spoiler!)
You know that moment when life is finally going your way… and then your past decides to crash the party? That’s exactly what happens to Lennon Gallagher.
Lennon is a successful attorney, happily engaged, and counting down the days until her wedding. Then her phone rings. It’s Erin Cooper, she has been held for assaulting Ashley, and she wants Lennon to defend her. Talk about terrible timing.
The catch? Lennon has every reason not to trust Erin. Their friendship ended badly, and old wounds don’t magically disappear. But Lennon has a soft spot for helping people, even when common sense is showing “Don’t do it!” sign.
“A couple of kick-ass lawyers, that’s what we are.”
As Lennon digs into the case, things get a lil bit weird. Erin and Ashley, who’s is the victim? Both are convincing and secretive. At this point, you’re probably changing sides every few chapters. I certainly did.
Then Lennon makes another life choice (very much questionable), she lets Erin stay in her condo while she’s out on bail. (becoz planning a wedding and legal battle wasn’t enough).
Add in Nick’s father suffering a heart attack, family responsibilities too!
The more Lennon investigates, the more the truth slides out. Later in the story we get to see a relationship based on jealousy, manipulation, and half-truths. Who’s the real villain ?, well you have to read the book for that.
The case finally reaches its conclusion, Lennon finds the closure she’d been avoiding for years. That’s how reunion went.

What I Loved
I also loved Nick, Lennon’s fiancé. He’s supportive, funny, and refreshingly normal. No unnecessary drama. Just two people who actually talk to each other. Imagine that!
The legal side is interesting without feeling like a law lecture. You don’t need to search every thing to keep up. And honestly, that’s the book’s biggest strength.
Final Verdict?
Some books keep you turning pages out of curiosity. Class Reunion does that. Overall the book is smart, heartfelt, and sprinkled with just enough humor to lighten the tension, this is one reunion you’ll actually be glad you attended.
A thoughtful but enjoyable read.
