Spicy...??? Scarlett and Lukas? Electric. Their chemistry is chef’s kiss, their banter is sharp, and their emotional depth? Oof. I went in expecting a fun, tropey sports romance, but Hazelwood gave me a deep dive (pun intended) into ambition, control, and the terrifying act of letting someone in. And Lukas? Someone wrap him in gold because that man is precious.
So why not 5 stars? The pacing occasionally did Olympic-level sprints, and I wanted a bit more from Scarlett’s arc. But did I love it? Absolutely. Would I let Lukas Blomqvist ruin my life? No question.
