Hudson and Ellory become academic rivals soon. Constant interfering with each other intellect, and you can see a very specific tension in between them.

But while Ellory is busy in her elite academia and Hudson’s attitude, Warren starts acting… off. She has visions. Déjà vu that doesn’t make sense. Objects move when they shouldn’t. Spaces don’t quite stay put. Her body reacts to something. Is she stressed? Burnt out?

Ellory uncovers the existence of a secret society that’s been in Warren for generations, using magic to protect the university’s fame at all costs.

An Arcane Inheritance Ending Explained:

Hudson, unsurprisingly, knows more than what it seems. His family is related with Warren’s history. Cue reluctant teamwork, late-night research, emotional honesty (eventually), and a whole lot of “wow this place is worse than we thought.”

The ending hits fast. The secret society is exposed. The truth comes out. Warren doesn’t implode, but it does crack. The illusion of safety and prestige is broken.

Ellory doesn’t get a clear victory—but she chooses herself, justice, and honesty over an institution.
