Game On by Navessa Allen is a story feat. Tyler and Stella, both miles apart in status but they play couple in Public. Intentional??
Well let’s jump into it, but if you are fan of Dark Romance, and want a recap of this series, you can checkout story at Caught Up by Navessa Allen.

‘One million dollars. That’s what I could make tonight if the party keeps up like this.
I still couldn’t believe I’d pulled it off. It was the absolute last place anyone would think for an ultra-exclusive party for elites.”
Book Review: Game On by Navessa Allen (Into Darkness #3)
Game On‘s story starts strong. I went in cautiously (looking at you, Caught Up ), and for a while I was like, oh?? we’re back?? The writing feels lil bit constrained, a bit faster pace to be honest and Tyler walks in. Made me really appreciate Caught Up.
And then… Tyler keeps talking. A lil maturity would be good.
He blackmails Stella, made her do the fake dating stuff, and spends a large portion of the book being, quite frankly… exhausting. You as a reader find for that moment where everything gets on the right track. You know the one. The “ohhh, I get him now” moment.
Did it come?
…kind of. But also not really.
Meanwhile, Stella? Carried. The. Book.
She is dealing with guilt, pain, and what not but then also she is sharp, self-aware, and actually trying to grow. And I’m supposed to believe this man deserves her??
Be serious.
And the romance… hmm. The tension is there. The banter? Fun. The spice? Oh, it shows up. But the emotional connection?
Also—can we talk about pacing toward the end? Because why does everything happen in the last stretch??
Like hello?? At the end, many side characters do appear and it makes things interesting but more messy. Overall a 3 Star.

Game On by Navessa Allen Summary (Spoilers Free Almost)
So, we start with Tyler, a man whose only goal is revenge and in that path he took a few bad decisions. He decides the best way to destroy his father is… fake dating a rich girl he absolutely cannot stand. Enter Stella, not a type of girl which is easily dominated by else. Except, oops—blackmail says otherwise.
And just like that, they’re playing couple in public while privately acting like they’d murder each other.
Fun, right?
Except… why does the hatred feel a lil too harsh or intense sort of? Why do the insults start sounding like foreplay?
They both genuinely dislike each other. Misunderstandings? Check. Baggage? Oh, plenty. Emotional damage? Overflowing. So with time, a few small moments of care, hesitation, something very close to tenderness—you can’t help but wonder…
Also, at the same time, Tyler is making his way into Stella’s elite world, making new friends and smiling all along, while plotting something not good. And Stella? She’s trying to run from her past, fixing her life from all the chaos. (obv. which she had nothing to do)
Great plan. No notes.
By the end you will see more betrayal, secrets, chaotic side characters (yes, maybe from prior books), and tension that keeps on increasing, and you’ve got a story that constantly asks:
Who’s winning here?
Because the deeper they get, the messier it becomes. Control slips. Lines blur. Feelings—very inconveniently—get real.
And when the truth finally comes out?
Yeah… let’s just say nobody walks away untouched.
Quotes:
“I had an objective: revenge. A target to pursue.”
