Synopsis: A Fire in the Sky by Sophie Jordan

A Fire in the Sky is a fantasy romance novel about Tamsyn, a young girl who grew up in the royal family but she was not respected one because of a harsh role, she is the “whipping girl.” Whenever her adoptive sisters, the princesses, misbehave, Tamsyn is the one who gets punished. Though treated like a princess, her real purpose is to protect the royal bloodline from harm. Her life changes when the king makes a secret plan.

Fell, a fierce lord known as the Beast of the Borderlands, comes to the kingdom and demands to marry a princess in exchange for his protection. The king, did not want to give up one of his daughters, and tricks Fell by marrying him to Tamsyn. Tamsyn’s face is covered by a veil on their wedding night, hiding her identity. When Fell finds out he was fooled, he feels betrayed and angry. But, he has no choice but to take Tamsyn back to his land.
