Book Review: The Perfect Divorce (Perfect #2)
Okay, Jeneva Rose—again. This sequel was the chaotic, twisty & drama bomb. Sarah Morgan is back, colder and deadlier than ever, and honestly? I’m both scared and in awe. She finds out Bob cheated once and just serves him divorce papers like she’s placing a brunch order. Ice. Cold.
The plot? A mix of murder, missing women, reopened investigations, and a man getting unraveled. Bob—poor didn’t stand a chance. And when he dared to threaten Sarah? Sir, have you met your wife?
Now, why 4 stars and not 5? Deep sigh. The pacing got a teensy bit wild. Some twists felt more dramatic than necessary (do all men in Sarah’s orbit have to self-destruct?). And while Sarah is an icon, I missed seeing even a sliver of vulnerability from her. She’s compelling, but a touch more humanity would be a lil bit better.
Still, I couldn’t stop turning pages. The tension? Intense. The characters? unhinged.

In the end, Sarah as always outshine everyone once again. Bob told Alejandro to kill Sarah. He receives a photo of Sarah’s body…. but we know what’s going on (li’l bit predictive …).
Bob winds up dead—an “accident,” of course—and Sarah walks away clean. Sarah’s web of deceit only grows stronger. So, is she a criminal mastermind or just a woman cleaning. As Bob spirals, the secrets start crawling out like roaches in the dark—and Sarah? She’s already lit the match.
Honestly, who cares? We’re rooting for her anyway.
